Let's say you cover the Northeast, or want to be kept up to date on all Winmo news in the Automotive category. In that case, you'll definitely want to personalize your profile to follow the categories and/or territories that matter most to you.
To do this, click on your name at the top right side of any Winmo page, and select Alert Preferences (or Alerts > Alert Preferences on the left hand task bar). This will bring you to a page listing all brands, agencies, and/or companies that you currently follow. Scroll down to Create Custom Alert to follow the categories and territories that you cover. Just check off what you want, name the alert, and you're all set!
Note: you can create as many different alerts as you like, so feel free to create one for the Northeast and another for Automotive if you would rather not have just an alert that covers only Northeast Automotive brands.
UPDATE: Good news! You can also now use this feature to follow Ranks and Job Functions. It works the exact same way as categories and territories. Just scroll down to the bottom of the Alert Preferences page to see all options available to you.
